Sex/Love Addiction Trauma Resolution for Men
Topic: A Task-Centered and a Biblically based 12-Step Format for men over 18 years old to reflect and resolve any childhood and adolescent trauma
issues ultimately leading to a sexual response called sex-addiction. Group is led by a Certified Sexual Addiction/Trauma Trained Therapist and Meadows
PIT trained.
Group Process: A two-hour weekly ongoing group for a maximum of eight men discovering new realities and how to live out these truths based on healthy
sexual, spiritual, relational, emotional, and mental perspectives of their healing journeys. The premise of group is healing is best facilitated in authentic,
caring community.
Group Content: Specific Workbooks used by participants are Facing the Shadow by Patrick Carnes, PhD; Sexual Anorexia by Pat Carnes; Recovery Zone
Workbook by Patrick Carnes, PhD; Gentle Path by Pat Carnes and Serenity Bible for 12-Steps.
