Mourning to Dancing
Tall Oak
Counseling Center
Mourning to Dancing is a Bible study and support group offered by Women’s Ministries at Woodmen Valley Chapel on Wednesdays - morning and evening
groups are available. The study, lead by counselors at Tall Oak Counseling Center, provides a refuge of encouragement and education from a biblical
foundation in a welcoming, authentic and healing setting - a safe place for sharing broken hearts and beginning a redemptive story.
Whether married or estranged, through this study, wives are able to see and hear a higher perspective and to engage in a promised partnership with Jesus
even while experiencing great disappointment, betrayal or continued detachment from her addicted spouse. Typically, the hurtful circumstance that brings
a woman to us is, most specifically, a spousal choice related to pornography or sex addiction, but can also include emotional or relational difficulties or
sexual infidelity.
Past sessions of the study have been a place for women of courage to process their betrayal and receive God’s love and comfort in relationship with Him.
Anger to acceptance. Isolation to relationship. Denial to understanding. Betrayal to forgiveness. Mourning to dancing. If these stories resonate with your
heart or if you are hurting in your marriage and need a place to find acceptance and support, please consider joining us at Mourning to Dancing.
